When you come to see us you'll be given personal attention, the time you deserve to learn
how to care for your bird, as well as answering any questions you may have.

Our Mission Statement

We at A Parrots Cove pride ourselves on the level of care and quality of our baby birds.
A favorite expression is “We have the sweetest birds in Texas”. It is a statement we all believe.
We accomplish this by having our babies socialized by a caring and loving staff. When we are
not busy, you will see me and my staff holding and playing with our babies. They are given toys
at a very early age. I consider this a necessity rather than a luxury. Toys help stimulate their
minds and keep them from destructive patterns of behavior. They are taught basic commands
and to use their beaks in a good way. They are taught how to live with their human family before
they are brought home. We happily work with our customers to explain bird behavior so that they
know what to expect when they get their parrot home. We are always available during store hours
and via e-mail to answer any questions.

Proper nutrition is a must. “You are what you eat” applies not only to us, but to our feathered
friends as well. A healthy bird is a well fed bird, and we take that very seriously. Our babies are
fed a nutritious diet consisting of pellets, fresh vegetables and fruits along with healthy snacks.
High quality additives are added to our babies formula to strengthen and build their immune
systems. We are sure you will agree, our babies are given the very best start in life.

We are so confident in our babies that we offer the best warranties. Along with the standard 72
hour veterinarian check, we have a limited one year warranty on our bird’s health. If something
should happen to your baby in the first year that you own it, we would replace it at breeders cost.
The one and only exception to that is if the bird has been abused or neglected. Finally, we are
available for questions as long as you own that bird. We give exceptional value at a fair market
price. Something many of our current customers would agree to. Call, email or come in to speak to
us about owning one of our babies. We would love to hear from you.
